Get Americans Working Again


In Congress, I will restore confidence and certainty to private sector businesses by passing conservative legislation to get our economy back on track:

  • Cut the size of government by returning to Constitutional principles of limited government and personal responsibility
  • Add Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution
  • Cut government spending immediately: every second the government is spending over $114,000 of our money; government currently takes 45 cents of every dollar you make.  THIS NEEDS TO END.
  • Cap federal spending to 18% GDP; currently the federal government is spending 25% GDP
  • Ban earmarks
  • I will stand up and vote against every bailout, stimulus plan, government take-over program and the raising of the debt ceiling.
  • Overhaul the current Tax Code
  • Make America ENERGY INDEPENDENT
  • Audit the Federal Reserve.
  • Enforce Border Security

It is up to us to make the United States the best place in the world to do business.  Here is what we can do…

  • Cut Taxes: extend Bush tax cuts with additional cuts, allow American workers to keep their money to invest, grow their business, hire, or start new businesses
  • Stop the over-reach of Government Regulations in our private business: average cost of regulations on small businesses is $10,000 per employee to meet government regulations
  • Encourage Free-Market Based Reforms: empower true free market principles in order to release the ingenuity and work ethic of the American people
  • Promote international trade laws that make U.S. exported goods and services competitive internationally by stopping manipulation of currency rates
