George Faught Announces Legislative Endorsements from Across Oklahoma Muskogee – George Faught announced today that he has earned the support and endorsement of 33 members of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and 5 members of the Oklahoma State Senate in his bid to be the next member of Congress from Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District.
“I am honored by the support from so many of my colleagues in the state legislature,” said George Faught. “We continue to work together in Oklahoma City to pass conservative legislation to get our government off the backs of the citizens of Oklahoma and to ensure that our shared conservative values are upheld. I look forward to campaigning with many of my fellow legislators across the 2nd District as we continue our fight against the Washington-way of doing business: tax more, spend more and borrow more. “
The following legislators have publicly announced their support for George Faught in the 2nd Congressional District Republican primary:
Oklahoma House of Representatives
Oklahoma State Senate
Staunchly pro-life, pro-business, and pro-limited government, Faught was recently endorsed by the Concerned Women PAC and the Can-Do Conservatives of America. In 2010, Faught received the top 'Limited Government' rating from Oklahomans for Sovereignty and Free Enterprise (OK-SAFE). In 2011 he was honored as ‘Representative of the Year’ by the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, and received the 'Eagle Award' from the Oklahoma Eagle Forum (presented by Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly) in recognition of his pro-life legislative efforts.
Owner and operator of a carpet cleaning business, Faught lives in Muskogee with his wife, Becky, and is the father of three grown children. You can learn more about George and his campaign by visiting his website, and by following him on Twitter and Facebook.
